| I recently finished a very long TT conversion and am in the break-in process with a new engine. After ~160 miles I started hearing a chirp noise at idle that sounded like a belt and after 10 minutes it would go away. I adjusted my drive belts assuming that was the problem to no avail. I decided to remove the belts one at a time to see if it was a bad bearing in one of the accessories. After all the belts were removed the noise was still present. I removed the D/S T-belt cover and the noise was louder but not pinpoint-able. All pulleys are new and the belt is a 1st gen Power Enterprise Kevlar... Is it possible to have a chirping t belt or more like dry cam seals? not sure what my next step should be...
